The Giulio Regeni murder trial that involves four Egyptian security agents accused of the kidnapping and murder of the Italian academic has resumed in Italy. Prosecutors in Rome have been unable to track down the accused so they're being tried in their absence. Giulio Regeni's body was found in a ditch outside Cairo in 2016. An autopsy showed the 28-year-old had been tortured. The Egyptian government denies any involvement in his death.
