Azerbaijan pursues legal action against Armenia at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over violations of energy rights in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia’s violations include its refusal to grant access to key renewable energy projects. These include the Terter hydroelectric power plant at the Sarsang Reservoir in the formerly occupied Agdere district and the Khudaferin and Giz Galasy hydroelectric projects on the border with Iran in the formerly occupied Jabrayil district.
