Emergency has been declared for the Russian region of Krasnodar Krai. This is after two ships ran aground in stormy weather on December 15th, spilling thousands of tonnes of oil into the Black Sea. spilling an estimated 4,000 tons of oil into the water. The incident happened in the Kerch Strait between Crimea and Russia. Volunteers are working to save sea life, in a clean-up that's likely to continue for months.
