They were carried out in response to a drone attack on army base Tower 22 in Jordan last weekend that killed three American soldiers. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) backed by Iran is targeting the U.S. over its support for Israel's war on Gaza. US President Joe Biden says the US attacks are just the beginning of its retaliation.
